We recommend using a Google Chrome browser if you need to record an answer. Also, double check that you do not have any applications or extensions running in the background that may be using or disabling your camera and microphone.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that you should try to get your audio working:
- Try clearing your browser cache and history. Make sure to close all the tabs in the browser after you clear cache and then reopen your browser and log back in
- Double check that you do not have any applications or extensions running on your browser that may be using or disabling your camera and microphone. Try using a private browser session on an incognito window to access the interview
- Make sure your microphone is working correctly, you will have been given the opportunity to test your equipment before the start of your interview.
If your issue still persists after trying the above steps, it may be a local issue on your device. We then recommend trying to use another device to record.
